Life Together
Ministries
The church is a “one another” community where members share a life of love to God and to one another. Here is how that takes shape week by week at Grace.
Weekly Rhythm
When we gather
God does not save us to live the Christian life alone. Gathering week by week is how we come to know one another, bear one another’s burdens, and stir one another up to love and good works. For conferences and seasonal gatherings, see our events page.
Morning Worship
The main gathering of the church. Congregational singing, public Scripture reading, prayer, and expository preaching. All children are welcome. A nursery for babies 0–3 is available.
Evening Worship 1st & 3rd
A second gathering on the first and third Sunday of each month — a little less formal, with time for singing, prayer and the Word.
Wednesday Evening
Doors open at 6:15 PM and supper is served at 6:30 — a shared meal for the whole church. At 7:20 PM, classes for ages 2 and up begin while adults gather for the Midweek Service of teaching and prayer. If you are new, come without any obligation to bring food. Please allow us to serve you.
Men’s & Women’s Studies
Men meet weekly in small groups to read and discuss a book together and sharpen one another. Women of the church gather to study the Scriptures together and encourage one another. Ask us for current days and times.
Ministries
Where people find a place
Families
We are committed to a biblical view of family life, and the entire family is welcome in our worship services.
Children & Youth
Wednesday-night classes for ages 2 and up, teaching the Scriptures at a level each age can take hold of. On Sunday mornings a nursery for babies 0–3 is available.
Prayer
The congregation prays together, and our elders pray for the needs of the church throughout the week.
Hospitality
Shared meals, open homes, and a table with room at it. This is one of the most ordinary and most important things we do.
Teaching & Discipleship
Verse-by-verse preaching on the Lord’s Day, midweek classes, and counsel that stays faithful to the word of God.
Membership & Care
Members are known, prayed for, and cared for by the elders. The membership process begins with a simple conversation.
Outreach
Manor Lake Ministry
Every week, members of the church lead a time of singing and Bible teaching for the residents of Manor Lake, a senior living community in Dawsonville.
Spurgeon Fraternal for Pastors
Once a month, pastors gather for fellowship, encouragement and prayer.

For Parents
Bring the children — all of them
We invite children of all ages to be part of our church community, and we are seeking to have a congregation where the entire family can worship together.
That means on Sunday morning children of all ages are welcome in the service — they sit with you, sing with you, and hear the same sermon you hear. It also means the sound of children in the room is a sound we’re glad to hear.
A quiet space is available for mothers and babies if you need a moment, and there is a nursery for babies 0–3. Use either freely, or keep your little ones with you — both are welcome here.
On Wednesday evenings, after supper, we offer classes for ages two and up while the adults meet for the midweek service.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”Hebrews 10:24–25

Start with a Wednesday
If a Sunday morning feels like a big first step, come eat with us on a Wednesday instead. Doors open at 6:15 PM. Bring nothing but yourself.
